Day 10

SUNDAY

Luca woke first, around 7-ish, Amelia woke about a half hour later.

Fresh pancakes and strawberries!

Other other "dipping sauce" that Luca fell in love with this weekend -- syrup.  He's surely a dipper now...

Crazy times with the princess crown:

The roses that Amelia insisted upon yesterday (they are orange in person) - $3.99 at Trader Joe's!

Working on a picture for you:

Dad trying to figure out the make and model of a car...as if Luca cares...

After breakfast, I worked on Luca's closet, while Dad and the kids watched VeggieTales.

All dressed up for church:

Eating pretzels:

Had coffee duty at church.  We all rode together, and Dad watched the kids while I worked on it.

Came home from church and had lunch -- a fresh pizza from Trader Joes for Dad, Amelia and me.  Luca had a hot dog, so he could be fed faster.

Put Luca down for his nap.  That's about when we had the big bunny-chasing event.

Amelia and Dad went on a scooter ride to the park at Smith:

Video:

I worked on cookies for Family Promise and chatting with you.

Luca woke and then I had to run down to the church with some food for FP.  I picked up some groceries too.  Dad watched them at home.

I had put the chicken in the oven before I left.

For dinner we had chicken, corn, and baked foccacia.  We video chatted with you.

After dinner, I was working on Amelia's closet and drawers.  I got it about 2/3 done.

When I came back down, I found Dad pulling them up and down the driveway in the wagon:

Amelia went over to Will's house for a bit, and Luca and Grandpa got on ball clean-up duty:

We headed upstairs to bed.

Usual crazy near-drowing behavior in the bathtub.  They are just hysterical.  I would walk back in and see them both laying on their backs next to each other, faces just barely out of the water.

Amelia wanted to wear matching dinosaur jammies with Luca.

Not sure why he looks like this:

This was the normal-looking pic....

And all the other versions...

Kicking Sissy while she laughs:

Look at her face...

Both kids were quite crazy.  After prayer-time, we had a 10 minute wrestling with Mommy (aka-- attacking Mommy) session.

Then Luca spied my piles of clothes still ready to be worked on and ....

We came downstairs to say goodnight to Grandpa, and the kids immediately gravitated to the TV:

Amelia in bed.... in our bed.  I gave her a whole list of rules, and when I went to walk out of the room, she was like "where are you going??"  Um.... no, I'm not going to bed now...

Wish me luck when you read this!

Love you
