Day 2

SATURDAY

Amelia woke us all at 7:30.

Luca ate 3 french toast sticks and a pile of cheerios and raisins:

Amelia got dressed, and then assessed the twirl-factor of her dress:

Luca started doing something new (to me).  He was really bothered by his dirty diapers (potty training ahead?).  With his (morning) full overnight diaper, he kept doing squats and saying "pee pee" until I changed him.  And he was really bothered by his "poop poop" later.

He pointed at his clothes, like he wanted to get dressed, and was sad when I put him down for a nap instead.  We were going to go to the farmers market and the arts fest in the AM, but since it was raining, we stuck with the usual 2-nap routine.

Napped from about 9:30-11:30.

Amelia and I watched the rest of Shrek together:

Luca got up and we hung out for a bit:

Then we had lunch-- corn on the cob and pizza that I made on sandwich thins in the toaster oven.  They hated the pizza....not like daddy's!

Then we went to the Arts Festival.

Got home and put Luca down for a nap... he napped from about 3:30-5:30.

We picked up my ring while we were downtown.  This was the opal + diamond ring that was my grandma's:

We came back in and watched "A Bug's Life" with that poor ladybug in a large plastic bag.

Dinner -- Mac-n-cheese and peas (separate).  Luca ate two full bowls of mac-n-cheese!

Hanging out together outside:

Luca and I did our usual thing of throwing the balls down the hill, while Amelia played with Olivia.

Time to come in and have bedtime!
